Providing Care on the Area's Only Ronald McDonald Care Mobile

Providing medical and dental care for children who are uninsured is the job of the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile.

In three years, 2,500 children have received nearly $500,000 in free medical and dental care on the pediatric clinic on wheels.

Neonatal Follow-Up Clinic

Special care is needed after babies leave the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.  The Neonatal Follow-Up Clinic is a place to go after discharge from the NICU for guidance in the areas of child care, medical support, feeding, growth and development.  Staff members are experts on the impact of illness and prematurity in the early years of life.

NICU graduates from Rockford Memorial Hospital, as well as graduates from other intensive care units across the county may come to the clinic.  In addition, babies care for in special care nurseries in northern Illinois and those referred by physicians may also attend.

For more information on the Neonatal Follow-Up Clinic, call (815) 971-5259.
